A few upgrades and a HI to everyone>>>

Hi everyone... long time posting, but still proud owner of MELO which I purchased new in 2008 and now has 20,000 miles on him>>>

I continue to make 'improvements' and the latest was to install the air charge pipe/noise maker delete and the discharge pipe muffler delete with the NM Engineering system. Must say NM has done a very nice job with the set ups and in particular the continuous diameter (think mandrel bent concept) silicon hoses.

Just a few pics...
Here are the NM Engineering setups (obviously the coffee cup is for size reference)>>>

And this is what they have replaced... the muffler (in the pic to the left of the Coke can) and 'noise maker' (everything dropping down from the horizontal hose to the right of the Coke can) are big! as seen comparing to the Coke can>>>

And installed, the new pieces are marked with NM>>

Got my hands on true JCW exhaust system (meaning from the cat back and not just the rear muffler) and installed....nice

That's all for now....
Michael

Looks really good and agreed, NM Engineering is pretty much top notch in my book.

How did you like the tubes after installation?

Very nice.
Who makes that turbo shield. I don't think I've seen that one.

Clean install and look good...NM claims a bit of power gain (due to less turbulance and no flow restrictions), but can not say since I added the JCW exhaust and intake at the same time (with those added you can feel a gain in power and engine is quicker revving). Knowing heat sink is an issue to turbo engines my next upgrade will be a larger IC.

Thanks everyone for the compliments... and yes the two cars in the background are both Vettes.... the Lemans Blue is a Lingenfelter C6 and the upper red Vette is a pristine 1990 ZR-1. Has a Lotus designed LT5 engine which is pure eye candy>>>
