My new r56!

So many of you know I recently wrecked my r50, and decided to go with a new r56.... And let me tell you. I dont regret it, im in love.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the r50, but i guess im just an r56 guy? Haha...

To start, the interior is much nicer.. the seats are more comfortable, and also easier to access the pass through button to lean them forward. The A/C buttons are pretty cool looking and don't get stuck or jammed like my old car did, was i the only one with the problem?!? The Ambient lighting is another one of those things that just make me love this car.. All the small things put into it just for the hell of it make me smile.. The extra space in the upper dash above the glove box is pretty cool too, makes a good hiding place. I can go on and on about the interior and my love for it, its great BESIDES the speakers and stereo controls. The 1st gen stereo sounded MUCH better... Just my opinion!

Moving on... I love the bumpers, side skirts, and hood scoop much more than the r50.. BUT.. The gas cap isn't my favorite thing in the world.. The r56 is a little bigger on the outside but IMO it looks more aggressive...

Now to power... Thr r53 has the fine wine of the supercharger which is nice.. My r50 had nothing at all, so the move up to the r56 is amazing.. I must say, even though the response of the turbo isnt like the supercharged r53, it still puts you back in the seat, and the low-end torque is ridiculous!

The handling of the r56 isnt quite as good at the r50.. Its much softer. I do plan to do a coilover intsall in the future though... The steering is great too, loose enough to drive comfortably around town, and as you get faster it tightens up!

When it comes down to it, the r50 and r56 are two different cars in many ways.. I loved my r50, but i would never go back to one.

All in all, I love the car.. I will be posting more about it on the forums so im sure all of you r56 owners will be keeping up with me! Now for some pictures!!
