Is this deal reasonable?
Hey Guys,
We went to the dealer today and ordered a 2013 Hot Chocolate Cooper
Ordered with comfort access and heated seats. I am planning on leasing it.
MSRP $21,900
Used the costco price and ended up with $21,300
The sales used the 2012 lease infromation and came up with $295 for 36 month @ 10,000 miles.
He used 68% residual and money factor 0.0015
Does this sound reasonable?
Thanks in advance for your help.

That monthly number sounds high based on the figures you provided so far. What is your sales tax %? What other fees are included?
Try a calculator like this with ALL your numbers: http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm
I put your numbers in there, assumed $0 down, no trade in, 7% sales tax, and $0 other fees and got $248.55/mo. So the dealer is taking an extra $1672.20 bite out of you somewhere.
Also, are you sure that 10,000 mi/yr will be enough? Most drivers average 15,000ish/yr...
