Trouble Installing Heat Shield

I'm having a hard time putting the upper heat shield back my 09 JCW after an oil feed line replacement. Can anyone answer for me real quick whether the entire heat shield goes in front of the lower heat shield or does the tab on the drivers side of the upper sheild cross behind the lower heat shield. I didn't notice how this was put together when I removed it.

If I am not mistaken it goes in behind it but, it has been over a year since I messed with it. Pick up a Bentley manual that will help out.

After trying it that way, the screw holes wouldn't match up right. It all wrapped around the front of the lower heat shield. I ended up having to bend the tab that goes around the corner on the end to get it between the coolant supply line and lower heat shield. At some point I must have nicked the supply line hose trying to get it back in because when I finally started it up to celebrate my accomplishment, that hose rained on my parade, literally.

I hindsight, I should have loosened the coolant supply to the turbo and moved it over out of the way. This would have gone a lot easier.
