Catch Can Differences

Shopping for a catch can and seeing a difference of about $100 between the BSH (with boost tap) and the NM Engineering one. Any ideas on why the difference in price?

NM make great hardware....I have a few of their stuff on my MINI. I went with the BSH for two reasons. First it has a dipstick which is real convenient, second, it has a accumulator screen that helps trap the oil vapor so it collects in the OCC. Not sure if NM has the screen as the literature doesn't say so, but they don't have a dipstick.

I've had it installed (with the PCV block) for about 2 months and have not used any oil at all and couldn't be happier with the purchase.

The dipstick provides a port to suck out the fluid, which makes it easy to empty. I would not want to have to put a cup underneath to drain (or remove from the bulkhead). I am happy with my BSH, I catch a bunch of water in the winter, and a bit of oil on my tired 08MCS.

NM-Engineering took the engineering time and research to provide a two bolt mounting surface both on the OEM hood sensor tab, and the firewall.
They also include the block off plug for the passenger side PCV port.

But agree with others above, and myself being a BSH catch can owner: the easy-access dipstick allows for quick, clean evacuation of the can.
