R56 Custom Blackout Driving Lights
#26
Great job, on the lights, they look great...Makes me want a set...I had work done at Mini of Omaha last month, and had a set of new lights in the hatch, and they wouldn't install customer brought in parts, but would sell me a set of the OEM light kits and install them...I told them NO thanks...
Now I think I will have my mechanic friend mount a set like those on BOO, after the holidays...:-)

The lights in the front bumper are really fog lights. I suppose you could replace them with aftermarket fogs but you'd lose your parking lights in the process. The position in the bumper is probably too close to the ground to be very useful if you tried to install driving lights in that position.

Hey guys sorry I never got the write up done for this thread. I kind of understated my condition when I said I was "under the weather". Actually my cancer has came back for the second time and I had been unable to find the time to get a write up done for you guys. I'm glad to say at the moment it seems I have battled past the worst of it. At little update on my lights: since installing them about 6 months ago, I have had absolutely zero issues with movement or vibration. I haven't had to readjust them even once, and I've also have had zero wiring/connection issues. These lights were definitely worth the $! It has been a while since I have done the install so my memory is a bit foggy, but if anyone would like I can still do a write up on the install, although it'll probably be short and a little vague haha. Glad to hear other people have had success on their own DIY Lights!
