Soon to expire warranty advice
Hello All,
I'm new to this forum and a new Mini owner - just purchased a 2010 S last Thursday. So far I love it but I'm sure in short order I'll want to extract a little more hp out of that powertrain without getting too crazy with mods. I have a lot of experience on Audi, VW, Saab and Ducati forums and am looking forward to spending lots of time here. I have already quite a bit of valuable information here the past couple days and found bart 1's "new owner" posting really helpful.
Here's my question: I have about 15k miles left on the New Vehicle Warranty (car currently has ~35k miles). Is there anything I should be keeping my eye out for in the next few months that could potentially be covered under this warranty? The previous owner also purchased the extended maintenance warranty so I guess I'm good for every other oil change, brake pads and maybe a clutch down the road. I don't think this car has been driven very hard as the previous owner is a 60 year old woman who bought it as a summer car and never drove it in the winter.
Thanks for any tips.
