Break in?

Is it necessary to take it easy after replacing the timing chain, crank sprocket, guide rails, tensioner, etc?

There shouldn't be any break in... "Break in" is more concerned with cylinder walls, piston rings and the cam shafts. The rest of the engine parts wear in as a function of normal use.

Thank you for the responses. I didn't ask service before I left the shop last night. Sure don't want to do anything to cause another other damage.
