Red brake ducts

I have a 2013 coupe with the factory JCW aero kit. I figured I would post here because from the beltline down it's pretty much like an R56.

A few weeks ago I toyed around with Plastidip and painted the brake ducts red. The coupe is black with a silver roof and contrasting stripes. The red brake ducts on the JCW bumper were just enough to "spice it up" a bit. The Plastidip job was OK as a test, but not a good permanent solution. I cannot get these brake ducts out of the bumper! I have tried searching the forum and all I can find is a few threads that say it's no big deal ... they just pop out. No way! I have protected the bumper with blue painters tape, used credit cards, a Milwaukee inspection camera, pulled, tugged, pushed ... I just can't get them to come out. Do you have to remove the bumper? Is there a trick?

Yes you have to remove the bumper then they come out from the inside.

Comes off easy once the bumper is taken off.
