well in my opinion yes ill recommend you to get another ECU Remap from Evolve especially that you will have their DP (and i think you should go catless if you can) you will see better number meaning more HP

Get your car now tuned by someone else since you will feel a little bit of a loss in the low end power. You will gain a lot more power with a tune, other than your JCW tune. I planned to go with an Evolve catted or catless. I'm trying to get a feel for my exhaust if a catted would be better since my resonator is off already.

update, finally the dp came back from getting coated. I installed the hiflow over the weekend (sorry no pictures, will have some this weekend) and now he wants me to swap it over to the catless one haha. If you guys are interested in a set please contact alex@evolve, he is a great guy and if anyone is looking for a hiflow version it might be for sale lol

If anyone is interested in Evolve check out their project thread over on Minitorque. No longer updated as mini was sold but gives you ideas of what Imran and the team there have been achieving:

I have their V1 FMIC which has been improved upon. Beats Forge FMIC according to tests over here. Still awaiting fitment as I am fitting new DMFW, JCW Clutch using KAV Motorsport plate, JCW Turbo and Manifold, Quaife LSD, Powerflex bushes and then an Evolve remap will tie it all together.

Currently just running Milltek TBE, JCW Airbox (soon to be AEM) M7 J Brace which will be for sale if incompatible with AEM kit, JCW Brembos, Hothkis Competition Rear Sway Bar, Hotchkis control arms, Bilstein PSS10's, OZ Ultraleggeras.

Is it just me or is my Evolve DP looks a bit different than the picture in the first post? The top part has curved. Is it just me?

When I got the downpipe from Evolve, it's super dirty in the inside. I bought it from Evolve US from Alex but I'm not sure if it's used. Is it normal?

I think its the picture, I actually had some issues with that as well with both the hi-flow and the catless. I just cleaned it up with brake cleaner and it was perfectly fine.

You might be on to something. I have one for my 2012 JCW and have been having trouble with the tune, misfires under hard throttle, and they aren't really responding to emails. I got a brief exchange last week explaining my 10,000 mile car had carbon build up and then nothing.

Giving them until this Friday before I write a canned version of their poor support and send RK into mediation with their local BBB. It's a pain to stir it up that much but they basically sold me a product that doesn't work.

I followed up with a different distributor and he said he will be getting more in. Are you struggling with support through RK autowerks or Evolve Tuning? This is all turning me off to the idea of buying one of these tuners either way.

You're always better off calling them for support. That's always worked best for me. A company like that receives thousands of e-mails and it can be hard to have yours stand out from the crowd if it's a critical issue.

I have left phone messages with RK but have only emailed Evolve. Always willing to accept that maybe they are working on the issue, but I don't really see it in the support.
Will likely put a call in to the UK on Friday.

Just call Imran or Salman directly when you need help at Evolve. Cut out those middlemen!

Making some progress on this. I did finally get ahold of someone in the UK and we are trying a plug change first. It's easy to forget the JCW is hard on plugs while stock and even harder on them when tuned.
They also replied really fast on my second issue, which is an Aquamist HFS-4 on the way...
