Did you disconnect the battery before the install?

That might have caused the issue.

Very unlikely. There is little (if anything) electrically happening at the taillights when nothing is turned on.

What did you do for wiring the running lights? If you wired them only to the LEDs, your car is expecting regular bulbs there.

The FRM will need to be coded for the change, however there is a possibility you will need to update the FRM2 to FRM3 and/or the software revision on the FRM will need to updated to support the retrofit. I haven't seen what specific codes or changes are necessary for this change. It maybe just as simple as disabling the warm and cold bulb checks on the rear parking/running lights.

As a crude workaround, you could try a load resistor across the running lights circuit (like people do when they replace a standard bulb with an aftermarket LED bulb).

^ yeah, a load resistor might work. You basically have to fool the car's ECU into thinking that the rear bulbs are not blown. LCI tails have LEDs which dont draw as much current as filiment bulbs and the ECU thinks the bulbs have gone bad.

Hi titish, how did you do the wiring? I bought a pair of tails from an LCI Clubman and I found the connector totally different! I would appreciate any help given. Thanks!
