what is the one best modification you have made to your cooper?

 

So far? 22mm RSB.

 

The best mod I did was too divorce my wife and now no one drives my MINI but me.

Best mod so far:

Add an amp and subwoofer and replace front speakers.

I may have a different answer in a few months. I'm getting ready to tackle a few mods/upgrades I've been putting off.

 

So far, its a tie between rubber mats & center armrest.

 

I've only done two mods so far, but between the two, the Rubbertite floor mats. The OEM mats in my car were just terrible.

 

I got Rowan two weeks ago today, so I haven't done much. I think the best mod so far is the Pulsar third brake light flasher, which I installed yesterday. It will make me feel a little safer when driving my little car in heavy traffic!

My best mod was the Accessport. This eliminated the throttle lag and gave a nice bump in midrange torque that makes the car more fun to drive.

The JCW steering wheel is nice, its the one mod that I use every time that I get in the car.

A MiniMania Intake Snorkel...

She's a "Justa" Cooper if that makes a difference, with this mod. I no longer have to use the Sport Button or worry about fuel mileage!!

 

I see we have all been bitten by the MOD bug.

 

Weight savings is the best mod, it is free. All the way from removing backseats to the driver losing weight.

 

I'd have to say I have a 3 way tie for best mod I've done to my car.

1) NM motor bushing
2) Tyrol Sport 40% ssk
3) Ditching the run-flats

All 3 made a very positive difference in the car.

Best mod I ever added was heated seats.
Adding Sirius was also good and I use that every time I drive.

 

That losing weight thing is the hardest mod of all!

 

My new set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports just arrived at Discount Tire.
Just received the call from them.
Set appointment for 9am in the morning to have installed.
Looking forward to (Hopefully) a lot less tire NOISE from the run flats on it now.
