Anyone have experience with dealer reflash for pop and burble?
Hey all, I was talking to my friend who is a mechanic at a MINI dealership and he told me I could get the infamous "pop and burble" back into my 2010 like I so desperately want after hearing a strait piped 2011 with crazy pop.
The way to do this is to get the car reprogrammed through the dealership. What I'm wondering is if anyone has had experience with reprogramming their cars through the dealer (2010s especially) in hopes of getting the pop and burble back. They want $160 which I'm willing to pay if it gives me the pop, but they said it's completely a risk to do it because they don't guarantee that it will work. Worth it?
Will this mess with my accessport or complicate things when I try to reinstall it on the car?
Thanks!
