bolt lug problem
Hey how ya doing. I have a situation I bought some aftermaket rims for my copper but the bolt lug wouldn't fit right on thw rim. Like the size is good (14m 1.25) but the head of it would not fit the rim right. I don't know if you understand what im sayin but can someone please help

Measure the size of the hex head on the lug bolts. If 19mm you can try a bolt with a 17mm head to see if it will fit in the wheel holes.

I know exactly what you mean. The conical part of the bolt doesnt fit right? I had the same problem. You have to get the m14 to m12 converters
These here. Way also sells them for a bit more.
Good luck. Some people on the forums have them for sale too so just do a WTB post first if you can.

It sounds like you need new lug bolts whose profile matches the seats on the new wheels. We have run into that sometimes in the VW world, where some wheels need bolts with a "ball seat" and others need bolts with a "cone seat".
Don't use the wrong one; all the stress for holding the wheel on will be concentrated in one or two very narrow rings. It's a good recipe for something to fail, which can be a Very Bad Thing Indeed.
