If i remember right in 2011 they have just the cap section added to production , then in 2012 or 2013 they added the additional wrap to it. Then in 2014 there was a bulletin for pre 2011 to get it when inspected at MINI service.

Right, I had to add this part to my 2009 several years ago....no campaign even though the issue is well documented....mine started leaking anyway and I replaced it with the Detroit Tuned super kit - very effective.

Looks like my dealer has been missing the fact that mine was never updated with the extended piece. Time to purchase one and install it myself, I suppose. Thanks for the info, ECS!

I just noted my wife's 2014 R60 has the part installed. Very odd my '11 did not have a campaign. Well, it is addressed now
