Strange issue with radio display

I noticed a few days back that when i switch to channel 8 on FM tuner, the 'check" mark next to 8 disappears after sometime, this does not happen when tuner is on #7, so when i want to change channels using the arrows on the steering wheel from 8 to 7, i have to press the arrow twice. i don't have to press twice when i am on any other channel.

any1 else have this issue?

any ideas how to fix it?

TIA,
Rahul.

This may be the first symptom of a weak battery. I had this problem occasionally over the last year. I checked the battery a few months ago(5 years old-original) and did not see a green dot indicating that the battery was fully charged. I replaced the battery and I have not had any radio symptoms like this since.
