wheel adaptors question?

hey guys
just purchased my first mini a 2013 cooper s super excited about it! but Im not really familiar with it. I owned a 2007 subaru wrx before. I have rims that i would like to use with the mini. Just would like to know if any one is running adaptors? and do people use camper bolts or anything like that? some photos would be cool as well i look forward to learning more about the car. thanks and it will be nice meeting every one here

You need to do a lot more reading in the suspension forum. All this info is in there with a simple search.

Wheel adapters are probably a no go as they'll lower your offset too much. You'll never get the tire tucked back under the fender. Just get wheels that fit.

No camber bolts only camber plates in the front. Rear gets adjustable control arms for camber adjustment.

+1 or you can go full custom and drill out your exiting hubs to fit 5x120 or 5x114. only seen 1 person do it and it looks awesome.

Thanks I was looking at the wheel tread but didn't find much there. But I guess I didn't think to look at the suspension tread. But thanks for the insight but redrilling the hub it's prob something I wouldn't do. I just purchased the vehicle and I don't want the dealer to give me **** and maybe in the future not cover something with the warranty.

I hear ya. I've been one of the lucky ones where the only thing my warranty did for me was cover my new hood scoop when it melted and deformed. Other than that, the warranty was a hidden veil that was there, but never really utilized except for the mandatory checks. Out of warranty and it has been a solid R56!

Yeah I hope I have no problems with the mini. I drove my wrx for 6 years never had to go to dealer for warranty work just normal wear and tear stuff. But yeah you guys talked about camber plates what's a good brand I should be looking at?

gotta "pay to play". can't think of any other camber plates that come close to what these do. maybe helix or nm have options?

I've been somewhat unimpressed with ours but I'd agree you can't really get anything better for the mini off the shelf from a performance standpoint
