I have reason to believe that my engine/tranny is bouncing around under my hood?
I have notice some strange scuff marks on top of my stock CAI and also on my former AEM CAI filter airbox and it's getting progressively worse in the past 5 months, what I don't understand is how or why. My only guess is it might be engine mounts? Which ones would cause the engine to bounce up and down? If you're going to recommend an upgraded part that might be stiffer what I don't want is something that's going to cause the car or interior to excessively vibrate!

Have you noticed any change in the shifting? I've read that the NM engine mount also helps improve shift quality. So maybe if the shifting has been getting more sloppy over the last few months, it would indicate that the lower mount is worn.
It is really easy to install the NM bushings, but you might want to remove the lower mount to inspect it. The lower mount is between the rear of the engine mount and the chassis, under the car. The mount is an aluminum piece with a series of rubber ribs in the large end of the mount. If the rubber has become deteriorated or torn, this would be your problem. If so, you might just want to replace the mount with the factory one.
Have fun,
Mike
