Vacuum leak or...? (07 MCS)

I decided to put my MINI up for sale and it seems to know - throttle response is terrible and the car doesn't seem to rev. This only happens on colder mornings and maybe when I'm blasting the heat. I doubt that has anything to do with it, though.

I drive my car very very short distances to work in the morning. I usually let it idle for a minute or two before I take off. This past week it's been in the 20s here in Charlotte. When I drive it, it seems like it doesn't want to rev high enough, the turbo is VERY audible, the blow off valve is very pronounced, and it smells heavily of gas (I've been using QT premium 93 octane).

I checked for hoses and lines fallen off. Nothing. I took the entire intake off, cleaned it all including the MAF, and put it back together nice and tight. It's been okay for a little while but just started doing it again.

Also, I've noticed the radiator fan (?) comes on and stays on for 30 seconds to a minute after I turn the car off. It only does this fan thing when the car is acting weird.

Anybody have a similar experience with an easy fix, or am I looking at another $1,500 fix?
