Valve stem on tire broke off
The front left tire was low on air last night since it froze over here yesterday so I decided to go the gas station to fill up on air. I checked my door jambs to see how many psi I need on the tire so I set at 33 psi as directed. The machine beeps when the certain set air pressure is reached so it beeped signaling me to stop. I turned my car on again and it was still saying "low tire pressure". I thought it was just the machine's fault so I went to the second machine and did the same thing but this time as I took off the hose, a little plastic thing broke off. I don't know a lot about tires but I brought it to the dealer today because I have full warranty on tires that my parents bought when we purchased the car. The motoring advisor here told me he is not yet sure if it is covered by warranty because "he has never seen that before" which is quite hard to believe, sounds like a lie to me. Anyway they told me they will let me know as soon as they diagnose if it will be covered by warranty or not. This will be interesting...
You guys have any similar experience? What do you guys think?

Diagnose it??? Its broke...remove and replace.....road-debris or (up north) a chunk of ice likely broke it....
You already know the issue...
Tires seem fine (unless you drove too far on low psi)....that is what has the warrenty....the tpms valve stem is what failed...
Somewhere around 90$ for a new one...but the valve stems are sometime sold separate.
Good luck...but pretty rare issue.
