2008 MCS Stereo stopped working
Hi guys,
I got into my car this morning and started her up and the stereo doesn't light up or turn on at all
I have wanted to do a new head unit anyways so now seems like the time to do it. I was wondering if people had any recommendations on installing myself with the aid of the Axxess BMRC-01 Factory Integration Adapter and the In-Dash receiver kit from Crutchfield.
I am looking at the Pioneer DEH-X8600BS head unit as well so if any audiophiles want to chime in please do.

Sounds like you want it to die! : )
Sorry, no advice to give on a new HU, but if you want to revive the factory stereo....it may be as simple as pulling the fuse and plugging it back in. Sometimes when there's a voltage drop on these cars, the stereo goes a bit nuts. Pulling the fuse can "reset" it....happened to me a couple of times. It can also be a warning sign that your battery is starting to go south....FYI.
