R1 F4 Keeps blowing

Just replaced the clutch on a r56 07 cooper s and now fuse f4 under the hood keeps blowing its a 20a fuse. Narrowed down its tied in with R1 when R1 is unplugged fuse doesn't blow. Now i have narrowed down 1 wire gray/blue any one know what that fuse powers ?

Is this grey blue wire under the hood? Also you mean grey wire with a blue stripe?

Yes exactly its under the main fuse/relay box under the hood . The wire is located directly under the R1 relay . When this wire is unhooked no fuse blows.

The way the shop manual shows this wire.. Is that it goes to your center switch panel in your MINI.. The grey with blue stripe wire. That wire leaves the general module control unit. then goes into your center switch panel.. Which by the looks of it...it goes to the right side window switch. Seems a bit crazy to me.. But I was never a fan of electrical trouble shooting ha ha.. I guess you can look and see if you find that color of wire in that location to help find your short. My question to you is do your power windows work in your car? Sorry I couldn't be of a bit more help.. But maybe someone else can chime in on here for you! Let me know what you find! Good luck!
