Brakes

hello, had my rear pads and rear sensor changed on a clubman base..paid $215 to a independent shop..is that cheap/expensive? Thanks

Sounds about right to me. How much were parts costs? I am guessing pads were about 60 and sensor was probably anywhere from 30-50 if they overcharge a lot. So assuming 100 for parts, labor and shop was 115 which is maybe one hour of labor? Sounds good to me. I was quoted almost $1k for pads, rotors, and sensor all around, but most of it was parts costs.

It's a fair price for a shop. But you could DIY for half that.
