Anyone else had P2414 CEL - Oxygen sensor?
Surprised to see almost nothing come up for this code here or elsewhere on the web, makes me think it is uncommon. It has been thrown a few days in a row on our MY08 MCS, tonight I pulled the connector on the pre cat sensor and gave the connectors a good cleaning in hopes that it's just a bad connection, seems odd that an O2 sensor would fail at ~45k miles.
Assuming it is bad are their any viable aftermarket alternatives? Looks like Pelican has a Bosch for $175, appears to be a LS17112.
P2414 - O2 Sensor Oxygen Sample Error (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P2414 - Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter, installation: Sensor is not installed correctly in exhaust system

I had an an issue with this the other day the forums up there somewhere. Anyway yeah it's dead and needs to be replaced. Bosch makes one but after talking to Dt you can really only get them from the dealer for about 180. Which I just realized I paid 280 but that's my fault

It happened to me once, but it was fixed after cleaning the contacts. Another thing you could try, is to clean the sensor by submerging it in gasoline. Finally, I suggest you also check the condition of your battery. On my sister's Fiat 500 we have had a O2 Sensor Error whose cause was a bad battery.
If all else fails, then go for a new O2 sensor. Bosch is the OEM of these sensors.

No I just cleaned the contacts on the connector and it fixed it... But I read elsewhere that you can also clean the O2 sensor itself if you dip it in gasoline. The sensor slowly wears out, so it may not be possible to revive it, but with just 45k on the clock that shouldn't be it. Normally these sensors last up to 120k+.
Keep in mind the CEL will not go away immediately if you do not remove the error with a scan tool. I think it requires 2-3 starts without the error present to stop showing the CEL.
