M7 Pre Intercooler Charge Pipe
Hi All,
I am new to the mini world, purchased a 2010 MCS this past December. I came over from the Saab world, and am quite happy with my MCS, fun to drive, sounds pretty cool, and handles like well.. you know.
What I would like to see is a little more grunt and pull off the line. I was cruising M7tuning.com and came across the M7 Pre Intercooler Charge Pipe, http://www.m7tuning.com/m7-pre-inter...-pipe-740.html
Does this work on a stock set up? Has anyone out there used it? is the few extra HP worth it?
Thanks everyone.

Realistically, you will see little to no gain. You will increase flow ever so slightly. It will benefit you more if you get an aggressive tune. However, if you're only doing a stage 1 or 2 tune, they're not needed. I have the NM tubes, hot and cold side, and I like them. They add a little pop underhood (not much as most of it is hidden) and I wanted to do something to car mostly. I like working on my own car, so I did these in an hour or so with a new CAI set up.
In terms of performance in stock form, you won't notice anything as you're driving.
