Stiffest setting is with the sway bar link attached closest to the sway bar (minimum leverage).

a
thank you! so the noise happens only under 30mph, on uneven roads

I think I have the same noise as you recently develop. I don't believe I have any interference. Going for links....

Well OK, I'm an idiot. Too much rock n roll as a youth.... I went and bought a new link. I had disconnected the top end of the old one and I couldn't get any play out of it with my hands but the ***** were loose and so I figured what the heck. Got one at the dealer as it was the cheapest, quickest option. Before I put it on, I dropped the shock out to assure that it was tight and gave it a blast with the impact to make sure. You guessed it! Noise was still there. I knew of the possibility and thought that I had it secured but my clunking was the rear seat belt male end knocking against the pillar. Rotated by tires and all is good except... the TPMS light went on and it won't reset. The option doesn't exist. Where it should say reset, it is blank. When you hold the button it brings up CC-ID 142. I've seen 4 mentions of it by searching but no remedy. I'm sure I'm just not holding my mouth right. Tires are within .5 lb of each other @38 psi. Any ideas?

You tried resetting with the car not moving (but on?) correct?

Are the tires too "hot"? I know TPMS can detect internal tire temps... Just taking a guess.

Dan - Must have been tire temp as you suggested. Drove a couple miles, shut it off for the afternoon. We I came back I went back to the reset procedure, reset was there now and voila! No more TPMS warning!

if anyone was wondering, the noise was the sway bar links. they decided to give out right when i installed the sway bar. swapped the links for some new oem ones and no noise. hope that helps anyone that has a clunking noise
