Anybody tried Fallen FK453 in 215 45 17
Looking to get new tyres and have read some good reviews but as always what works on one car is not so good on another.
These tyres are fairly new but have been around about two years so hoping someone has some feedback to share. My car has sports suspension and it's not lowered.

According to Falken this is their top sports tyre developed from testing at Nurburgring and what they learned from the LeMans 24 hour race with the tyres featuring a Nur:Spec compound. I know all marketing hype but sounds nice.
The guy at the tyre shop said after quickly going through a set of Michelin's and Continental's he switched to these Falkens and said he was very happy.
As far as the 452's being more a luxury sports tyre if their like the 453's they actually come in two forms, CC which is for luxury SUV's and Azenis for sports cars obviously I'm going for the Azenis.

I ran 215/35/18 Falken 452's on my MINI when I had my CCW's and they're more for the stretch look than they were for sheer sportiness. I'm sure the 453s are capable tires, but being that I'm in sunny SoCal, if there are any tires I run, they're the extreme summer types.
Mind you, I will be going to some max summer tires in the coming weeks only because I'm going back to 18s for the daily slammed looked, but if it weren't for that, I'd be on extremes 365 days...

OK looks like theres no feed back on the current 453 so I've decided to go with the Sumitomo HTR Z III instead seems to be the go to tyre for the biggest bang for your buck. If the P boys sre enjoyimg them I'm sure I will too. Thanks anyway for your feed back on the 452.
Turned off DSC and are finishing off my run flat RE050A's. I love the smell of burning rubber in the morning

Well, I had 453s on my E46 M3 and I loved them. I got them when they first came out a couple of years ago and had no issues with them. They were not as noisy as the 452s and gave a good balance between performance and longevity.
I am planning on a set for my new wheels when they get here to replace my 912s I have on my current set up and also want the RT615Ks on my 16 inch wheel setup for track days
