A supercharger is a part of the system these guys show to Leno, upgraded generator with capacitors in the truck spins the supercharger instantly to 70,000 rpm's and then backs off when the turbo is fully spooled at about 5k rpms. So, if you just had this supercharger as a kit, it might be worth something.

very long and boring video for such a neat concept.
oddly enough, i had a concept of an idea floating around in my head for some time and always wondered if this was do-able; looks like it is! not practical, but do-able.
see if you can squeeze a R53 supercharger into an R56 non-s; maybe you can score one cheap from a junkyard?

Anything is do-able. But the n16 runs such a high compression, boost is bad for it. The internals can't handle it. I've had the idea of a centrifugal s/c on my 2012 base but i have come to a conclusion it is expensive as all hell, and some seriously computing would be needed for the DME. But if you come up with some more info, I'm all ears.
