Horsepower/Torque Gains

Hi everyone,

My 07 MCS has the Forge FMIC, Evolve DeCat DP and full catback exhaust. I have my boost controller ordered, and likely will have the WMW manifold ordered in a couple weeks.

I'm not sure if I should do more prior, or even after, but I'm likely getting the Evolve tune done once I have the funds, anyone have an idea of the hp/tq I'll be riding with come that time? Thanks!!

Why a boost controller? You only add boost without the fuel which is gutsy and risky on any vehicle.
Typically you'll run the car lean because you're over-riding the ECU's set boost parameters without any fuel change.
An ECU tune is a safe, good-bang-for-the-buck since it increase FUEL delivery with the increased boost.
Send back the controller and save up.

+1 You want to make the car faster, not turn it into a grenade on wheels

The car is smart enough it will open the blow off valve once it realizes it cannot control boost via wastegate anyway. Our waste gates are vacuum activated and not boost sensing/controlled like most turbo cars so manual controllers require some major rework and ecu modification.

map sensor is there to adjust fuel / adjust timing for pressure changes... of course it is on the factory ecu "curve".

like the last guy said... using a boost controller will be tricky, an old school AVC-1 hardset electronic boost controller would be the easiest to use to control a vacuum reference. I cant see anyway for a newer "smart" controller to work properly. I dont think its worth it... the right way these days is to get the ecu tuned for what you want.
