A bit of Rattle

Hi all,
I have a question for all you mechanically-in-tune people on here. I was driving my car pretty hard with no problems. As I start to ease down about 10 mins after I hear a small quick rattle come from the engine bay. It only happened for about a second and then stopped. It happened only once again about a minute later. Any idea what this could be? It hasn't happened any other time after driving hard until now. All help is greatly appreciated and I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere.

Tyler

My 2013 MCS had a similar occasional rattle up front. Turned out to be the turbo heat shield needed to be tweaked and the rattle has never returned after eight months. Good luck. DeanLinAZ

Can you list year and model, as well as mods? That would help to get more responses, I believe.

I know that my 2011 MCS R56 makes some clicking noises after shutdown, especially when hot. Sounds like a large relay clicking. There is also the aux water pump sound.

My apologies, I was in a rush. I own a 2007 MCS with no performance modifications as of right now, seeing as though I just bought her a month ago.
