Radiator keeps blowing up fuse - OVERHEATING

Good evening everyone,

Tonight again, Georgia has a little overheating problem. The cooling system fuse keeps blowing up and the car is not getting cooled anymore. It was raining tonight and I was driving with the a/c on on the highway and everything was good. But after getting in Manhattan starting idling in traffic, I saw the yellow temp warning popping up. Checked the fuse and it was blowed again... I guess my fan is asking too much power. What should I do except changing the fan (300$). I keep replacing it and it lasts for a week... Then as soon as the fan asks a lot of energy it blows.

R56 from 2007 - justa - no problem at all since the beginning except changed the thermostat.

Thanks everyone!

You must have a short somewhere and it's not going to be easy to find, this job is somebody familiar with electrical stuff. There's hardly any conclusions to bring up since there's no way to test.

I went to my mech today and he told me I had to change the fan. The fan is struggling starting and ask too much power making the fuse to blow.

Is any of you have already changed the fan assembly ?

Thanks!
