Limp Home / No Codes

This morning the car immediately showed limp home mode. Running control check indicated no issues. Plugged in the scanner to find zero codes.

Any thoughts?

TIA

It has a code - but probably a MINI specific code. A generic reader wont pick it up. You will need a dealer or a Bavarian technic-like reader.

Could be something like a torn DV, which would cause overboost and thus throw you into limp mode. Or a temp sensor or something basic. I'd get it read, then fix accordingly. Good luck.

You should still be under warranty if that "13 R56" sig is true, otherwise check the local BMW forums for a Bav-Tech owner.
