Tyrolsport intercooler?

Hey guys I've been interested in this intercooler, but I have not heard much about it. Is it worth the price? Is this intercooler much better than other brands? Does it provide bigger gains in power? I would just like to hear people's reviews of this intercooler before I make the purchase.

NO intercooler provides ANY power. Intercoolers do not make power, they let you make what power you have, longer.

I have no knowledge of that intercooler, but it looks like it blocks a fair part of the radiator.

I've got an Alta, (that I got for a very good price), it works. By that, I mean it effectively cools the intake charge much better than the joke of the OE part.

Tyrolsport makes very high quality products, nothing to fear there. If I could afford it... I'd definitely opt for their FMIC.

In regards to power gains, though, intercoolers can boost power numbers, regardless of what said said above.

Wouldn't a cooler intake charge make more power?

I wanted this intercooler, but didn't think it was going to work out for me because I added an oil cooler and that intercooler is too tall, negating the oil cooler mounting location altogether.

Cooler than what? Lol.

Seriously, yes a cooler charge will make more power, but all of the quality ic's (alta, Forge, Helix...) all cool the compressed charge, and have minimal pressure losses.
