I got it on the road as of Saturday afternoon. Completed 620 miles of the running in so far. Couple of small issues. I think we haven't timed the vanos perfect (probably to do with cam chain tension when locking in the cam sprocket bolts) so we have a vanos code throwing up. Otherwise going well. Will complete 1000 miles by the weekend and re-address the vanos issue. Been a long road but great to have it driving again . I have much more to update but been busy. Ie all the final build stuff and the pre start up lube process including watching all the under piston oil squirters to make sure all is working before we bolted on the sump etc. Ask away for any questions. Cheers

I think the link below should work. It's too much work to keep two threads going! :-)

Maybe periodic summaries on this thread, with repeated links to your MT thread?

Congrats on getting back on the road. Your MT thread has got to be one of the most detailed, and radical, rebuild threads available. Your upcoming info should be of great interest to those of us DIY'ers just starting a rebuild process. I'm thoroughly impressed with to-date results!

I've made an update on the 'minitorque' website and forum. Same link as I shared previously.

I have made another update to the minitorque forum post.

http://www.minitorque.com/forum/f272...-ideas-116426/

The exhaust manifold spacer and feed to the second exhaust manifold has been fabricated and put in place. Might be of interest to some.

Cheers

I updated my thread again. Now at just over 240 bhp at the wheels. Some interesting stuff about the secondary manifold. Will update more as we go.

Cheers,
