Ignition Coil Resistance

Does anyone know what the resistance value (primary and secondary) for the ignition coils would be? I have the Bentley manual and searched here but to no avail. I am trying to troubleshoot the yellow engine light on but no codes! Manual says the catalytic converter is in danger. Mine read as follows:
#1 Primary 1.8 ohms Secondary 1.2M ohms
#2 Primary 1.8 ohms Secondary 1.44M ohms
#3 Primary 1.7 ohms Secondary 994K ohms
#4 Primary 1.8 ohms Secondary 1.6M ohms
M= Mega ohms
K= Kilo ohms

Thanks for any help,
Lane

If you suspect a coil is bad, swap cylinders and see if you get a misfire code. Did you change plugs recently or anything like that to suspect the ignition?

Thanks for reply. Cad has 116k miles. Changed plugs at 60k and 110k. Has lumpy idle when cold and stumbles when pulling at lower rpms eg when going up hill at cruise speeds. I just pulled plugs last night and #2 and #3 had a buildup between electrode and tip. Buildup was a light tan color and blew right off with air. I did swap two coil positions after installing plugs and light is still on. Is there a recommended OBD reader for Minis or is my Innova 3035f acceptable. Any help would be appreciated as the nearest dealer is 3 hours away from me.

Not sure about the reader, do you have an autoparts store near you (Autozone, for example)? Many of them will read your codes for free, they want to sell you parts.

I have heard of some people having a coil go bad, but it usually showed up as a misfire code (they give specific cylinders, or 'random'). No tune changes or anything recent?
