What is your goal? The only change you could conceivably make is from behind the primary catalyst, putting your exhaust tips in the center of the car. That would require a new bumper cover as well. A purely cosmetic change.

yeah, if there was a way to do this without losing the spare, I'd do it in a second. I'd love to install the GP diffuser but need the central exhaust for that. plus the center exhaust just suits the lines of the MINI so well.

That's correct. The S has no spare (no place to store it), and to compensate it has runflat tires as standard equipment.

I have a spare from Detroit Tuned in the boot. Fits under the rear window shelf. If looks are what you want, have a muffler shop put a pipe, muffler, and tips where you want.

Oh ok got it. Thanks and also I know this is off topic but are there any performance upgrades I can get for a non s? I regret not getting one haha... I saw the jcw tuning package but that's just for s right?

not much performance mods available for non-S. There's a member or two on here who have done extensive mods to their non-S, but I think the general consensus is it would be cheaper to just trade in for an S. The air intake on the non-S actually takes its air from a "cold air" location, so drop in K&N filters are about as good as it gets there, and there are some nice *looking* exhausts, but I've never seen an exhaust add any measurable performance gains to a low HP naturally aspirated car. But, plenty can be done to make the non-S Cooper look great, which helps a little with the S envy that I'm sure we all get.

Oh ok thanks for the info I appreciate it. Because I just got the non s as a certified pre own recently so I don't think trading it in for an s is an option right now

eh, insurance is cheaper with the non-S at least. When i was pricing it out with Geico, i think it was around $30/month less than the S. Of course, the 370Z convertible I was eyeing at the time would have been like $150 more per month!

Congrats on getting a MINI. Enjoy the fantastic handling and a much more problem-free experience with the base (Justa) Cooper. Aside from replacing the thermostat, my 08 Clubman has been completely trouble-free.

no performance upgrades besides suspension. and i don't think the exhaust location for the s is ideal anyway
