Just had a meeting with MINI and they now telling me that its from the Turbo. Is that possible?
They can't know that without guessing which I might add Mini does all the time because Mini techs are trained to read codes and replace parts, troubleshooting isn't in the training and is a rarity at Mini dealerships. That's why so many go to indy shops that have truly capable troubleshooting techs that just don't throw parts, turbos at the problem.
Mini is notorious for throwing parts at the problem until it's fixed at your expense, Mini brand is hurting because they are unable to properly diagnose their own vehicles without code or CEL. You're best option is to parts ways with all Mini dealerships or else you'll soon see Mini tossing expensive parts at your car until it's fixed or not!
There's other way for oil and coolant to mix, head gasket, oil filter housing and a leaking freeze plug which I have seen right here on NAM, there's a freeze plug under the cam gears that has popped off other member's heads.
I highly doubt your charger cartridge is cracked..
While the oil feed to the Turbo is high pressure oil, it's not high volume.
You've got other issues.
The OP is definitely not in good hands! An experienced hands is more like it, a common trend with Mini dealers! It's becoming comical because you hear about it all the time now.
