Going Rate for Mini Oil Filters - 2009 Cooper S
Hi guys,
I was looking to buy oil filters from one of the sponsor, and noticed their price was close to retail cost at the dealerships.
Has anyone purchased OEM oil filters recently for the Gen 2 Mini Cooper, and if so, what's the going rate?
The increase I've noticed has been about $4more /unit.
I've been pleased with the service, and price in the past from this vendor, but when you're buying packs of 5 or 10, the /unit cost adds up quick.
Thanks.

We offer them in packs and try to keep the price down as low as we can. We only use the OEM filters in our shop as we find the aftermarket not to always fit right. We also include an oil change static cling stickers with each filter.

I agree this WAY 95% ... and buying 6 at a time can get a better price
but
I've had many folks bring me MANN filters over the last few years with nary a problem and they get them locally at a good price . . . or a price they like anyway (dealer is an hour away)
MINI has been around long enuf now that most routine maintenance parts are available from a decent 'chain' part store including routine use brake pads and rotors.
If you want 'performance' stuff, that's a different story in some cases. Larger chain outlets do have slotted rotors and EBC and HAWK pads IME . . . .
just sayin ....... if folks ask me, I tell them to check WAY's site for packages.

For our oil filters here we will be making kits like our brake kits, ignition kits, etc. soon. So keep an eye out for when we release those as we are always adding to our catalog.
