CEL on 2009 MCS

I am trying to troubleshoot/fix a check engine light causing limp mode on my girlfriends daily driven 09 MCS.

First I apologize for the long first post but I'd really like to get her back on the road.

She started it up a few days ago and the CEL is on and its in limp mode and idleing very rough.

I used my bt obdii adapter/torque app to pull the codes and got p0120 and p0122. These are both pedal/throttle position sensor errors. I did some research and the most likely culprit is the pedal or throttle body sensors have gone bad. The live data on torque from the sensors seems to fluctuate properly with pedal imput but I'm not willing to rule out a sensor failure.

I decided even worst case I'm out $400 in parts if I do one and it turns out to be the other, so I decided to go ahead and pull the throttle body.

Now is the strange part. In beginning to pull the throttle body I happened to notice that the wires going to one of the ignition coil packs have been chewed by a rodent! The white and green are damaged and the black is missing about 1"!

I would think that this would be causing a misfire code not throttle position codes. As I'm not super familiar with these cars I thought I'd come here to ask if anyone has had issues with Torque/BT adapters giving false and/or incomplete readings? Could the bad connection be causing these codes? Or is it more likely I do have a throttle position issue?

Right now I'm leaning toward putting it back together and taking it somewhere to get the wiring harness repaired (I'd rather not mess with it myself) before ordering the throttle body.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
