Random rubber tube connector

Hey guys,
I finished replacing my thermostat housing today on my 2007 MCS (r56 N14)

and everything is fine and dandy. Car runs great on boost that I can tell and I have no codes or lights at all. When I pulled the mini out of the garage I found that this random black tube was on the floor right under where my engine was. I'm thinking it's a connector for some of the vacuum lines or wastegate lines but I have no clue where or to what it goes to. Attached are 2 pictures of the piece I'm talking about. Thanks in advance for the help.

Tyler
