iPhone 6S + 09 MCS?
I finally replaced my ancient iPhone 4 (justa ) with an iPhone 6S. I used to connect my 4 via the factory accessory cable for rudimentary control through the car's audio system. Thought there would be a quick answer for this, but not finding anything...
Is there a MINI software update available/necessary to get bluetooth connectivity for the 6S on my 09 MCS? Is there an accessory cable available to connect the 6S to allow audio control through the car's system?
Thanks.

This should work: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-USB-3-5M...cAAOSwMmBVw1CR
Don't know about getting it working on BT.

Now that I think about it, maybe simply using a 30-pin to lightning adapter with my existing cable would work...
I got it to pair. I'm all good there!
I'll report back on the cable/adapter.
Thanks.

30 Pin to Lightning
Do yourself a favor if you have not already ordered it and get an actual 30 Pin to Lightning cable with an adapter instead of just an adapter by itself. You'll have the length of the stock Y cable, and then some extra length with the adapter cable.
My wife is enjoying having the extra length to see her phone screen more easily when necessary. In addition, it helps to take away the tension that is on the connectors of the stock Y cable, especially if you tend to sit the phone in the cup holder.
We actually had our first Y cable replaced under warranty due to the cable wires becoming exposed.
I cannot remember where I ordered the adapter cable from but I know I tried to find something that was Apple OEM or OEM quality and it has worked flawlessly on her 6S Plus. I ordered two. I think they were around $30.

Cool, thanks. Yeah, that's actually the plan. I have a case on my phone and I don't think the block adapters would plug in fully, so I'd get the adapter with cable.

Cable
This is exactly what I got. Ordered from NewEgg. They were $24.99 at the time.
