R56 Replace thermostat with water pump?

Replace thermostat with water pump?
I had the water pump, drive belt, friction wheel, coolant, and thermostat replaced when the R56 Base had hit 71k miles.
Should I plan on replacing all of this again when I hit 140k miles? I have heard the water pump is a common failure but does the thermostat usually need to be replaced along with it?
