Interest in Wide Body Wheel Arch Flares for R55, R56, R57, R58, or R59?

Gen2 (R55-R59) MINI owners, please reply to this thread if you would purchase a set of these or LIKE them. There will be some who do not care for these but plenty of MINI owners out there have been waiting for something like this for years.

They will sell for $900 including shipping for the set of 4. They DO require trimming about 5/8" of metal from behind each fender.

If demand is high enough (as in about 10 people REALLY committed to buying a set) we will go ahead and add them to our site.

What do you think?

I really like them but it looks wrong at the rear bumper... The front looks good but the rear looks off where the bumper trim starts

Is there a way to make that flush? Maybe a third piece to keep the line going?

I totally understand and agree with your thoughts on these. As we are not the designers or manufacturers of these we were not involved in the design, however my guess is they did this so they could keep the full 'design' of these all in one single part. If they would have taken the flare down into the rear bumper it would likely cause issues as they would then have to make 4 other part numbers. The base Cooper has a different rear bumper, the JCW has a different rear bumper and then there is the "Aero" rear bumper. Along with the standard S bumper would have been quite a bit of work.

Yea that's a deal breaker for me until they come up with something different. If there are any design changes be sure to pm me or repost. Maybe if there was an option to purchase side skirt and bumper pieces that would help sales. IMHO. Thanks.
