Pros and cons of going widebody...

Hello,

I came across these fender flares and wanted to know what mods you need in order to achieve a look the resembles the picture? (aside from the obvious...massive spacers...20mm? lowered to the floor? suspension?)

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...dy-flares.html

What are the pros and cons of having a ride like this? A pain for daily driving?

This is just out of curiosity...unless its not that complicated and I decide to proceed :P

Thanks in advance!

Pro - It looks badass :D

Con - You need the right wheels and tires to make it look badass, wide wheels with the right offset( 8-9" wide with +10-20 offset maybe) is what makes this look good.
spacers would not be the way to do this.

from the limited research I have done, looks like they attach the same way the stock fender flares so not much work on that.

also going to need coilovers and adjustable links to adjust camber to get the wheels perfect.

Wow! I thought it was all about the spacers! After your said that I went deep into the wheel forum and found plenty of info that matches what you described!

Thanks for the reply!

If all you care about are looks go for it. If you plan to drive your car in the real world you aren't going to be very happy with a setup like that.

Ever hear "all show, no go"?
Cool looks, according to some....but hit some potholes, a raised manhole in a construction zone, or perhaps a blown tire carcass on the highway, and you will see why they are show cars and NOT usually daily drivers.....
