R56 Fault Lights - Brake, DSC and Yellow CEL

Fault Lights - Brake, DSC and Yellow CEL
2013 Cooper S with auto and about 53k miles
Three lights - Brake, DSC (on Tach), and a yellow CEL (on Speedo) - came on this morning shortly after I filled up with gas. They stayed on the 20 miles I drove to work. Once I got to work, I re-seated the gas cap and started/stopped engine several times. No change. Went out to look at it again at lunch and all lights were out (Started/Stopped engine several times). Drove home this afternoon and the Brake/DCS lights illuminated after about 10 miles but the yellow CEL stayed out. Went back out after dinner and now all three are back one...
Any ideas? I thought for sure the gas cap was the CEL culprit but when it came back on after dinner - now I just don't know.
I have an Innova 3030 code reader that is showing a Vehicle Longitudinal Acceleration Faulty CAN Signal (not sure of exact wording) but of course it will not reset the fault. The fault code it shows is B18B9
On a side note - is the Bavarian Technic hardware/software a worthwhile investment? I have tried two code readers so far that claim to work with Mini's only to find they do not (seem to) work as advertised.
Thanks in advance...
