Mini at dealership... big trouble?

Hey everyone,

New here and looking for some advice, long story but will do my best to be descriptive.

I have an R56 2008 Mini Cooper hatch, dual cam N14 engine, non-S. The car sat for approx. 2 years ( lost my license and just got it back ), the car wouldn't start after sitting, so replaced the battery, plugs, sucked all the old fuel out, tested spark ( good ), tested fuel pressure and pump ( good), changed the engine oil and filter, but still wouldn't start.... so I said screw it, lets take her to the dealership... They found my tensioner for timing was pooched and the chain was really loose, they said they scoped the cylinders and found no kisses on pistons or markings of any kinds on cylinder walls, so it sounded promising, or so I thought. They ended up doing the timing chain kit ( new chain, tensioner, idler, guides and etc. ) but it still wouldn't fire....

So they performed a leak down test and came with up with these results ( even though I kind of don't believe it )

Cyl 1 0psi @ 100psi test, 100% leakdown

Cyl 2 4psi @ 100psi test, 80% leakdown

Cyl 3 0psi @ 100psi test, 100% leakdown

Cyl 4 0psi @ 100psi test, 100% leakdown

..... I can't say I've seen readings like that before, if valves were out, would it not be even across all cylinders? They are now saying since the car sat for 2 years, that the piston rings are compressed/stuck against the pistons and causing leakdown to crankcase... I've never seen 100% leakdown on a piston with just a ring being stuck, since they scoped it and found no markings, it would indicate that the rings didn't completely get shot and break off, so I have no idea what the hell I should do or think here... any ideas? Or do you think I'm being fluffed here? Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks folks.
