You should just change the FRM VO to be identical to your current CAS VO.
It is very easy if it is done with NCS.

No experience in changing FRM VO with ISTA/P.

You can't code a used FRM to these cars, I've been able to trial substitute a known good FRM, but you cannot code a used FRM. They are only imprintable once.

Today, I change the MULF (Bluetooth module) and reprogram (and update) all units of the car, including the FRM used with the ISTA -P program. and the car returned to normal. I am happy

All ready!!!😃

ISTA -P program BMW would not let me set the FRM ( light module ) used by EBAY buy without first changing the MULF ( Bluetooth module ) that was burned. In addition to updating all modules , bluetooth achieve it work that had never worked.

no need to change the ULF if the FRM is dead. search footwell module and you will find great information. Coding via ISTAP should be achievable. Make sure you have the latest SP datens.

I bought a new one and coded and programed with ISTA P. That program has saved me a lot trying to get this R56 running again.
How does the Footwell module get water damage? The sunroof drain is only on the passenger correct?

The rain drain is on both sides...the rubber hose gets lose for whatever reason...if you unscrew the side trip piece, you should be abke to touch it from behind the head liner. At least that was a reason for it to be damaged. I have two FRMs dying for now reason. No big deal though
