Wheels size question

Can I fit 17x7.5 with a et 38 and either running 205/40 or 205/40?

Yes.

This is 17x7.5 et38 with stock 205/45/17s - On H&R springs






And then, lowered more on coilovers. No problems

I have no clue. Whatever H&R springs did, then with the wheels black I had BC Coilovers that were pretty slammed. Never really measured.

Yea that's pretty low on the BC's , I like to see the old Sport Aero (hypersport) body kit, had that on my old R56 S.

On H&R for the R56 S , its about 1.4" front and 1.4" rear average lowering.

This car is long gone, but no(ish) and no

I had VMaxx coils before the BCs and I think the BCs went even lower...the dual adjustability with them was great...you could thread the coilover body "into itself" and also manipulate the spring perch for preload ect.

When I had the car at its lowest I might have gotten some slight wheel-well rub on large dips in the road. I never really drove the car too hard honestly. :(
