Hi all,

First time posting here although I've gathered quite abit of information on this site just from searching in the past, however couldn't find an answer for this particular issue on the girlfriends 2011 Mini Cooper S, the car has just recently decided to stop blowing air into the central dash vents, it'll only blow out the foot well and windshield vents, I'm narrowing it down to some sort of actuator of sorts that controls what I'm guessing is a flap on the vents in question so when I pick it to blow into my head as it were these just aren't opening... my questions are, is this a good possibility? (There must be a module to activate the vent opening/closing too? Could it be that?) And if so where would I locate said actuator/vent flaps? I'm guessing behind the radio etc seems to be where the vents lead... is it easy enough to gain access to it with the dash/radio removed? I did install an aftermarket radio in it around Xmas time but didn't really pay attention to much else back there..
