Best Spark Plugs for Mini R56 N18
I just picked up a 2011 Mini Cooper with the N18 engine @ 64,000 miles it looks like it has the original spark plugs in it. I want to replace those.
It looks like my choices are:
1. OEM which I really don't see a particular advantage to get those at the cost.
2. MiniMania recommend Beru Spark Plugs. Some look yellow ( ) and some look stainless steel ( ) I'm not sure why.
3. Bosch which I have alway been a fan on as a better spark plug which is Iridium rather than Platinum which is supposed to be better and last longer as well.
4. Finally, there are the NGK Platinums.
Anybody have any experience on which is the "best", or any that should be "avoided"?

Well, I'm sure this topic has been discussed in ad nauseam.
I think these are the best plugs from what I can tell.
NGK Spark Plug ILZKBR7B8DG (9577) Iridium.
However they were going to take 3 weeks to get from Amazon or EBay, so I went with the platinum Beru's

I used the stock ones or ngk. MINI is switch over to champion on other modes, so they might be switching to those soon.

I don't know which ones are OEM since I want to purchase them first before I pull them.
All these folks claim OEM status at one point in time....also, it looks like the link you sent me to has an OEM column and it has all of these spark plugs there.
Do you replace the coils at the same time or only when they fail?
